Regional Director S&LR holds conclusive meeting under Phase-I of DILRMP

Kulgam: The Regional Director, Survey and Land Records (S&LR) South Kashmir, Dr. Abdul Hafiz Shah chaired a meeting of Tehsildars of Pulwama, Kulgam & Shopian to review the progress achieved in respect of preparation, deposition of Jamabandies under Phase Ist of Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).

The chair was apprised that out of 347 villages 342 Jamabandies have been completed in district Pulwama, and out of 273 villages 254 Jamabandies have been completed in District Kulgam. Similarly out of 240 villages 234 Jamabandies have been completed in District Shopian.

All the Nodal officers were directed to complete the pending Jamabandies and deposit them in the office of Regional Directorate Maraz prior to deadline on 22 March, 2021.

Pertinently, in 2nd Phase of the programme, digitization of Jamabandies will be taken.
