Renowned Indo-Canadian Poet Rupi Kaur Declines Diwali Event Invitation from Biden’s Administration in Protest of Gaza Situation

Indo-Canadian Sikh poet #RupiKaur has declined an invitation for a #Diwali event on Wednesday from US President #JoeBiden’s administration over its response to situation in #Gaza.

In a post on X, Rupi Kaur Said “I decline any invitation from an institution that supports collective punishment of a trapped civilian population 50 per cent of whom are children.”
