Reopening of schools: DC Poonch finalises arrangements; Reviews implementation Mission youth, arrangements for visit of union ministers
POONCH : Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting of district and Sectoral officers to discuss the arrangements for opening of schools, registration of youth club members, Covid 19 mitigation measures and implementation of Ayushman Bharat, besides finalising the arrangements for the visit of Union Ministers.
Discussing the arrangements for reopening of schools for class 10 and 12, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned to allow only vaccinated/Rapid Antigen tested students in the school with 50 percent strength. He also said one employee at the main entrance of the school will check the temperature of every student with a thermal scanner.
BLOs and ZEOs were asked to conduct online registration of eligible youth on the Mission youth portal and prepare the sports calendar and share a copy of schemes at each youth club to make the members aware about the same.
He instructed the CMO to achieve the target of 4000 vaccinations per day and educate the general masses about Covid appropriate behaviour.
Necessary directions were issued to the teachers, BLOs, Anganwari workers, RDD and social welfare department to mobilize the local masses for vaccination, SOP guidelines and benefits of Golden Health card.
Regarding the visit of union Ministers, the Deputy Commissioner directed all the district/ sectoral heads to prepare details about the activities/ achievements of their departments and furnish the proposal to district administration regarding display of departmental stalls, laying of foundation stones, inauguration etc.
