Republic Day Celebration at XITE
XITE College celebrated Republic Day with great fervor and patriotism on its campus. The event was marked by a series of activities that showcased the pride and unity of our nation.
Simran Kumari, a BBA student, gracefully emceed the event, guiding the audience through the day’s celebrations. The national flag was hoisted by Prof. Anjali Jha, who also delivered an inspiring message reflecting on the significance of the day and the responsibilities we hold as citizens of this great nation.
In her address, Prof. Jha emphasized the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution and urged everyone to contribute towards the nation’s progress while upholding the principles of equality, liberty, and fraternity. Her words resonated deeply with the audience, instilling a sense of patriotic pride and duty.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Radha Mahali, the Cultural Club coordinator, who ensured a seamless and engaging program. Her efforts in organizing various cultural performances and activities that highlighted India’s rich diversity and cultural heritage were highly appreciated.
The vote of thanks was given by Shrutika of BBA, who expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event, including faculty members, students and support staff.
The presence of Fr. (Dr.) E. A. Francis, SJ and other esteemed faculty members added to the solemnity of the occasion. Their participation demonstrated the college’s commitment to instilling values of citizenship and patriotism among students.
The event concluded with the national anthem, leaving everyone present with a renewed sense of national pride and unity.
