Republic Day Celebration Consultative meeting held online

Aligarh: To discuss and finalise various arrangements for programmes to be organized as part of the Republic Day celebrations at AMU, an online consultative meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor today.

Prof Mansoor emphasised that the Republic Day will be celebrated at Aligarh Muslim University with traditional gaiety and fervor while following Government’s Covid-19 protocol and guidelines suggesting preventive measures in the light of fast spreading Omicron strain.

AMU Registrar, Mr Abdul Hamid (IPS) welcomed the members and apprised them about the programmes to be organised and arrangements to be made.

The customary Mushaira (Poetic session) will be held in an online mode on January 25 from 8: 00 pm to 10: 00 pm.

The meeting was attended by various officials and functionaries of the university.
