Research grant to AMU professor

Aligarh : Prof. M. Masoom Raza from the Department of Library and Information, Aligarh Muslim University has been awarded a major research project worth 10 lakhs by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) to conduct a study on “Collection, Use and Management of Records in the University Libraries of India.”

This project aims to assess the present system of organising and managing records in libraries and further intends to recommend a robust system for managing library records for effective storage and dissemination of information to staff, students, and researchers said Prof Masoom Raza.
