Resident doctor presents paper at the World Congress of Internal Medicine in Prague, Czech Republic

ALIGARH : Dr. Arham Khan, a second year postgraduate Resident Doctor in the Department of Medicine, J.N. Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University attended the 37th World Congress of Internal Medicine (WCIM ’24) held in Prague, Czech Republic and presented three papers during the conference organized after every two years by the International Society of Internal Medicine (ISIM).

Dr Khan presented three papers with the principal study on ‘Acute Gastro-Enteritis induced Acute Kidney Injury in Adults and the Role of Hemodialysis’ under the mentorship of Prof Mohd. Aslam (Department of Medicine and In-Charge Dialysis Unit, JNMC, AMU).

The Chairman of the department, Prof Anjum Parvez  and his mentor, Prof Mohd. Aslam congratulated him for the achievement and emphasized the importance of medical research, attending conferences and international networking as an integral part of residency in Medicine.
