Results of the annual interuniversity competition of projects in foreign languages
The super final of the competition in 2021 was attended not only by students of Petrozavodsk State University, but also the Ural State Economic University (Yekaterinburg), Ivanovo State University of Chemistry and Technology (Ivanovo), as well as the Eurasian National University named after V.I. L. N. Gumilyova (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan).
The interuniversity competition of projects in foreign languages, which has become a tradition, was organized by I.E. Abramova and E.P. Shishmolina. The competition is constantly evolving and arouses interest among students of Russian universities.
The Digital Story format and the choice of acute social and patriotic topics allow participants to maximize their creative aspirations, express their point of view on the most important issues of our time, try themselves as creators of multimedia or video content, and hone their skills in working with visual images and infographics.
This year, in addition to the already traditional topics related to countering drugs and corruption, the participants of the competition were invited to reflect in their “digital stories” on the problem of maintaining peace and countering terrorism, as well as on how people’s lives have changed since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. In total, 32 works took part in the superfinal of the competition.
