Results of the V. Potanin Foundation Scholarship Competition

Among the winners are Master’s students of PetrSU.
The Expert Council of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation has summed up the results of the scholarship competition for the 2020/2021 academic year. Among the winners there are three undergraduates of Petrozavodsk State University:

Makarova Tatyana Dmitrievna, 2nd year undergraduate student of the Institute of Philology, direction of training “Philology”;
Slyassky Dmitry Pavlovich , 1st year undergraduate student of the Institute of Economics and Law, direction of training “Jurisprudence”;
Khorenko Yana Aleksandrovna , 1st year undergraduate student of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences, direction of training “Social Work”.
The winners of the scholarship competition will receive a monthly scholarship from the Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation in the amount of 25 thousand rubles, starting from February 2021 until the end of their master’s studies.

Despite the difficult conditions of the ongoing pandemic and related restrictions, the competition showed high demand.

This year, 5747 people showed interest in the competition. 2,000 representatives from all 75 universities took part in the face-to-face online selection based on the results of the correspondence examination. Since this year, by the decision of the Fund, the number of winners has been increased to 750 (in previous years – 500).
