Revenue officials updated about functioning of online services; DC Jammu asks officers to ensure timeline disposal
JAMMU : A training session to sensitise the Tehsildars, Naib-Tehsildars, Girdawars and Patwaris about the online services of the Revenue department was held here today under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Jammu Avny Lavasa.
District Informatic Officer, Sanjay Gupta, through a powerpoint presentation, sensitised the officers of Revenue Department about the functioning of online services like issuance of domicile certificates, attestation of mutations, fard, caste certificates, redressal of online grievances, updation of court cases and other services.
The DIO updated the officers about the functioning of the online portal and providing the revenue related services to the people.
After the training session, the DC exhorted upon the officers and field functionaries to work as a team for better results and efficient public services delivery.
She instructed the Revenue officers to follow the timelines in the disposal of services under Public Service Guarantee Act, 2011 (PSGA) and RTI.
The officers were asked to facilitate the public in applying for domicile certificates with the help of PRIs. Besides, Tehsildars were asked to create awareness among the general public regarding online services.
