RHTC organizes a health camp

ALIGARH : The Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC), Jawan, Department of Community Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, conducted a health camp for employees at the Aligarh Self Reliance Alliance (ASRA) under the supervision of Dr. Ali Jafar Abedi (Member-In-Charge, Urban Health Training Centre (UHTC) and under the guidance of officiating Chairperson, Department of Community Medicine, Prof. Uzma Eram.

Dr. Karthika P (Senior Resident) highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy diet and daily physical activity, and conducted BP test and anthropometry on the patients attending the camp. Dr. Abirami S, Dr. Chandramouli Mitra and Dr. Kulsum assisted her in the exercise.

Mr. Hasan Nawaz Khan (MSW), Mr. Mohd. Danish (Health Inspector) and Mr. Faisal Majid carried out the patient registration and measured the weight of the beneficiaries, who were tested and suggested medicine for the most common complaints like fatigue, dizziness and white discharge P/V.

Diabetic and hypertensive screening was done for high-risk individuals and they were advised to take proper diet, maintain hygiene and take adequate medication.
