Rice University achieves ranking among Princeton Review’s ‘Best Value Colleges’
Rice University earned the No. 12 spot among private schools on The Princeton Review’s recently released “Best Value Colleges” rankings. It is the only institution in Texas to make the list.
Rice also ranked highly in several subcategories. It was No. 15 on the list of best private schools for students with no demonstrated need for financial aid or those who don’t qualify for aid, No. 17 for financial aid offerings and No. 20 for career placement upon graduation.
The rankings are based on data from the The Princeton Review’s surveys of administrators at more than 650 colleges in 2022-23 on their schools’ academics, cost/financial aid and career services, as well as student debt and graduation rates, according to the organization. Data from surveys of students and PayScale.com surveys of alumni about their starting and mid-career salaries and job satisfaction also factored in.
The Princeton Review rankings come on the heels of Rice landing multiple programs in the nation’s top 25 in the latest U.S. News and World Report “Best Graduate Schools” rankings.
