Rice University to host Conference USA Baseball Tournament
Rice returns to postseason action on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. when the Owls face top-seed DBU in the opening round of the 2023 Conference USA Baseball Tournament at Reckling Park.
The opening round of the tournament opens at 9 a.m. when #3 seed Charlotte faces #6 Louisiana Tech, followed by #2 UTSA and #7 Middle Tennessee at 12:30, and will wrap up with #4 WKU and #5 FAU at 7:30. All games prior to the championship will be carried on ESPN+ while Sunday’s championship game will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network.
Tickets for the tournament are currently on sale. All-session passes are $110 for reserved seats and $90 for General Admission while single-game reserved tickets are $20 and GA tickets $15.
The Owls earned the final seed in the tournament with a 2-1 win over FIU on Thursday night, securing their 15th appearance in the postseason tournament since joining the conference for the 2005-06 year.
This marks the third time the postseason tournament has been held at Reckling Park. Rice hosted the event in its first year in the conference and again in 2013.
