Rishihood University Organises Changing Chalks Awards
Sonepat : Rishihood University, India’s first impact university in Sonepat, Haryana organized the Changing Chalks Awards in its campus to celebrate and give due recognition to the achievements of deserving schools’ principals from Delhi NCR. The event commenced in the University’s auditorium and witnessed participation from over 100 schools.
Renowned author, activist, and motivational speaker Shri Shiv Khera graced the awards ceremony and gave a motivational speech before principals were felicitated for their exceptional and outstanding contributions in the education space. Shri Ajay Gupta, edupreneur & philanthropist and Co-Founder, Shri Sahil Aggarwal, Co-Founder & CEO, Shri Shobhit Mathur, VC & Co-Founder and Ms Soumya Aggarwal, COO graced the event with their presence.
Speaking at the Changing Chalks event, Shri Khera said, “Rishihood University has been founded with the country’s interest in heart and not with any other motive. He gave an astounding speech and captivated the audience with his magical words. One must continue to fight to win in life. Not fighting is not a choice. Do not fight for the sake of it, your objective should be to win. Repeating the same mistakes brings failure so one must make success a habit. Leadership is not a popularity contest, sometimes you have to be tough to be kind. Making money is criminal while earning money is spiritual. When we earn, we put our energy and ethics behind it. A recent survey has shown that 63% of employees are disengaged with office work, and only 13% of employees do actual work. People spend so much time on social media during work hours, it is unethical.”
Conveying his elation at the successful culmination of the event, Shri Sahil Aggarwal, CEO & Co-Founder of Rishihood University said, “We at Rishihood University believe that fostering a good learning environment and enhanced exposure beyond the boundaries of a classroom is crucial for a well-rounded development of innovation and excellence in a student; something that schools are imperative in providing. In addition to witnessing the keynote address by Shri Shiv Khera, Principals were also felicitated with Changing Chalks awards in various categories viz., Ingenious Principal Award, Innovative Principal Award, Inspirational Mentor Award, Leader at Heart Award, Principal Award for Social Impact, Rising Star Award, Trailblazer Principal Award, Visionary Mentor Award and Lifetime Achievement Award.
After the award ceremony, school principals were offered a guided tour of Rishihood University and all that it has to offer its students, followed by a lunch reception.
