Roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh to be implemented in a time bound manner
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the dream of building Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh is our first and highest priority. It is not a Karmakand but it is a Karmyog for us. He further mentioned that a timebound implementation of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh will be ensured, so that the target of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh can be achieved by the year 2023. All the departments should start working from today itself in the direction to achive these goals within the stipulated time. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was holding discussions with the Heads of the Departments in context to the implementation of the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh via video conferencing at Mantralaya on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the draft of the roadmap for building Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh should be made available to all the Heads of the departments by November 5. All the Heads of the Departments should ensure implementation of the same by preparing a departmental strategy to achieve the goals mentioned in the roadmap. He said that the Heads of the departments are required to issue necessary directives to the divisional and district level officials regarding the goals mentioned in the roadmap. He further added that such goals, in which more than one department is involved, the heads of the departments will establish necessary coordination with the concerned departments. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that the heads of the departments will divide the goals mentioned in the roadmap into short, medium and long term goals and coordinate with the finance department to ensure provision of additional financial resources for their fulfillment. He said that the achievement of the goals should be regularly and continuously reviewed and in case of any difficulty, the heads of the departments will ensure its solution after immediately informing the Chief Secretary.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that a committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary for a high-level review of the implementation of the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Each department will appoint a nodal officer to upload information on a separate web portal being prepared in context to Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. All activities from uploading information as regard to the implementation of roadmap as well as review will be completely paperless and online on this web portal. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan clearly instructed the officials that no laxity or any negligence will not be tolerated in order to achieve the goals of building Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the target is big but not impossible.
In the video conference, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains informed about the drafting of the roadmap of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh and progress made so far as regard to its implementation. He further mentioned that webinars were organized on four subjects in the month of August in cooperation of NITI Aayog of Government of India to prepare a roadmap for building Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. These include areas like physical infrastructure, good governance, education and health as well as economy and employment. Chief Secretary Shri Bains further stated that on the basis of the contemplation in the webinar, the in depth discussion took place among the ministerial groups, formed by the government and a roadmap was prepared, the presentation of the same was also made before the cabinet. He informed that the roadmap has been finalized and a time-limit has been fixed for the time bound implementation of all the activities mentioned in the roadmap.
