New Delhi: Leading industrial technology company, Rolls-Royce, in association with Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) India and Buddy4Study has invited applications for the Rolls-Royce Unnati Scholarship Programme for Women Engineering Students. Launched last year, the programme is aimed at providing financial support and mentorship to meritorious girl students studying in 1st, 2ndand 3rd year of undergraduate engineering programmes. The programme is now accepting applications for awarding this year’s scholarships, and the last date for submission of applications is 31st March 2021.

Rolls-Royce is committed to advancing STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and the ‘Unnati’ initiatives are aimed at empowering women in STEM careers.Selected students of the Unnati Scholarship Programme will be provided with one-time financial support of INR 35,000 and appropriate guidance and mentorship.

This scholarship is being offered by Rolls-Royce India as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives that primarily focus on supporting and encouraging students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. Through various community outreach programmes for STEM learning and skill development, Rolls-Royce has so far touched the lives of over 100,000 people from diverse backgrounds in India.
