Rotary Club of Capital City New Delhi Bags 7 Awards at District Ceremony

 

New Delhi: In an event conducted by the Rotary District comprising of the National Capital Territory, the Rotary Club of Capital City New Delhi bagged seven awards including the award for ‘Elite Club of the District’ and the ‘Best President’ Award given to Rtn Brijesh Mathur. The awards were given in a lavish ceremony held at Taj Palace, Diplomatic Enclave, New Delhi.
The annual district-level award recognises and appreciates the contribution of hundreds of Rotary Clubs working towards social development of their district. The Chief Guest praised the constant public services activities done by the Rotary Clubs of the district and distributed the awards to the clubs which have done outstanding work for the society and the underprivileged in the last one year.
Rtn Brijesh Mathur, President, Rotary Club of Capital City New Delhi, who won the award for the Best President, said, “I feel humbled to receive the prestigious awards from the fellow members of the Rotary. The feats that the Rotary Club of Capital City New Delhi has achieved in the last one year, has been the all-round contribution of all the club members. With our efforts such as the Nulyfe Vocational Centre in Malviya Nagar, we have witnessed a marked change in the lives of those underprivileged. The latest in the direction is a ‘Pramanit Charitable Library and Education Centre’ that we have started for the underprivileged.”
The District Governor Rtn Shararat Jain acknowledged the efforts and activities of Rtn Brijesh Mathur as the President of Rotary Club of Capital City New Delhi. Under the leadership of Rtn. Brijesh Mathur, the Club has organised several health camps, cultural programs, educational programs, social and welfare activities. The contribution includes organizing more than 100 free health check-up camps, establishing Pramanit Charitable Library and Education Centre for the underprivileged, running the Nulyfe Vocational Centre for the underprivileged, adoption of primary schools for enhancing the education and much more.
Mr. Brijesh Mathur also runs a corporate law and IPR consultancy firm called BMC Advisors, has served on the Board of several companies and is associated with various other organizations in India and abroad.
