Round Table 90 & Ladies Circle 36 Inaugurated 2 Classrooms & a Toilet Block at Government Lower Primary School, Gopalpura Village , Kolar to Support Freedom Through Education

Bengaluru : As a part of Round Table India’s vision Freedom Through Education’, an initiative to help create quality infrastructure in schools for underprivileged children, Bangalore Central Round Table 90 and Bangalore Central Ladies Circle 36, Inaugurated two classroom blocks & a toilet block at Government Lower Primary School in Gopalpura Village, Kolar District. The total cost of the project is INR 14,50,000. Planning and construction works for this classroom began in December 2021 and was completed in May 2022.

The project is jointly funded by Round Table India, P&G, Round Table 90 & Ladies Circle 36 and will include complete classroom infrastructure inclusive of benches, fans, lights. 1 RO water purifier was installed worth INR 60000. More than 150 students will benefit from this development.

While there are several community service projects being implemented concurrently by Round Table India across the country, ‘Freedom Through Education’ is the ongoing National project. The project aims to provide physical infrastructure to schools aimed at supporting the education of underprivileged children. The organisation is involved in building classrooms, toilets and providing other amenities like drinking water facility, library, science lab, playgrounds, etc to schools across the country that are catering to children from lesser privileged sections of the society.

Area 6 Chairman of Round Table India Tr. Sandesh, Tr. Anupam Agarwal, Chairman BCRT 90 and Cr. Swati Agarwal, Chairperson BCLC 36  along with other executives and members of Round Table & Ladies Circle India, in the presence of the school Headmaster and staff, inaugurated the project.

We have now delivered more than 7500 Schools in all parts of India in the last 20 years and it is positively impacting the Education of more than 80 Lakhs. I would like to thank P&G and all other generous donors who came forward to contribute and support us in this cause,”
