Rs 4.10 lakh assistance provided to NOKs of 2 deceased construction workers in Kathua

Kathua: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Om Parkash Bhagat, today handed over sanction letters of Rs 2.5 lakh each to the dependents of two deceased construction workers under the welfare scheme of Jammu & Kashmir Building & other Constructions Workers Welfare Board.
Assistant Labour Commissioner, Brijnesh Kumari was also present.
The Deputy Commissioner handed over the sanction orders to the families of deceased construction workers Jarnail Chand son of Ram Lal of Padbal Hiranagar and Kishore Lal son of Sansar Chand of Mela Hiranagar.
The deceased were registered with Assistant Labour Commissioner Kathua under the welfare scheme of Jammu & Kashmir Building & other Constructions Workers Welfare Board.
Under the scheme, in case of death of a registered worker, one time death assistance of Rs 2.05 lakh is given to the dependent family members by the JKBCWW Board.
