RTA issued permits for hungry routes in Reasi

REASI : Regional Transport Authority, which met under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Reasi, today issued 27 route permits for different areas of the district.

Threadbare discussion was held in the meeting with respect to the safety aspects of the commuters. Against 31 proposals, 27 permits were issued to the selected applicants (unemployed youth) with a view to minimize overloading and road accidents.

The DDC asked the regulating authority to ensure early plying of services on the approved route permits and maintain a close check on overloading, overcharging and irregular vehicular movement.
