RWTH Aachen Tops National Rankings for Industrial Engineering

With its latest university ranking, the WirtschaftsWoche magazine once again confirmed RWTH’s excellent reputation among companies.

Each year, approximately 500 human resources managers are surveyed to evaluate universities based on their perceived effectiveness in preparing students for professional careers. The results affirm RWTH’s exceptional reputation in research and teaching: a degree from RWTH is seen to provide optimal preparation for professional life and its associated demands on graduates.

Again, RWTH tops WirtschaftsWoche’s rankings in industrial engineering. About one-third of the surveyed recruiters indicated that they would prioritize hiring graduates from RWTH. Coming in second place, RWTH’s program mechanical engineering also finished exceptionally well. Third-place rankings were achieved in electrical engineering, computer science, and the natural sciences. Business administration was ranked ninth nationally.
