RWTH Hosts RWTHextern Lecture Series on Chemical Weapons
Professor Harald John of the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the German Armed Forces will speak on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, on the topic of “The Trace of Chemical Warfare Agents: Methods for the Forensic Detection of Poisoning.” This event is taking place as part of the lecture series “Chemical Weapons – Why a Discussion is Topical and Necessary” of the RWTHextern Citizens’ Forum.
Although chemical weapons have been banned internationally since 1997, they are still being used. The Citizens’ Forum RWTHextern invites you to a series of lectures highlighting the threat posed by chemical weapons, how it can be proven that they have been used and the role that politics has to play.
