RWTH: RWTH and Celonis strengthen cooperation

RWTH Aachen University and Celonis, world market leader in the field of execution management, are expanding their strategic cooperation in the field of process mining. The university and the company have concluded a partner agreement. A new Celonis Engineering and Innovation Lab Aachen on the RWTH campus is intended to provide synergy effects in the area of ​​research and development as well as in the training of future specialists for process mining and execution management. The focus of the new lab is the further development of future-oriented process mining functionalities such as process recognition, predictive analytics, data-driven simulation and machine learning.

“Celonis successfully implements findings from cutting-edge process mining research into technologies that thousands of companies can use to improve their processes and thus their performance,” emphasizes RWTH Professor Wil van der Aalst, Chair of Process and Data Science at RWTH and Chief Scientist by Celonis. “On the RWTH Aachen campus, entrepreneurial innovative strength meets a unique knowledge community whose research competence can further inspire Celonis.”
