RWTH Shines in the CHE Ranking

The results show a particularly high level of satisfaction with the IT infrastructure and the digital teaching elements.

The annual CHE university ranking, recently published in the ZEIT study guide, once again attests to the University’s good performance in research and teaching. The current edition evaluates business administration and industrial engineering, which is offered at RWTH in no less than four disciplines. At the heart of the ranking is a survey of students on their studies, the university’s facilities and the teaching staff. A maximum of five stars were able to be awarded.

RWTH students were particularly satisfied with the IT infrastructure and digital teaching elements. Almost all subjects achieved results above the average for universities. In the most important question, the evaluation of the overall study situation, the majority of students at RWTH also gave the institution good marks. Here, the assessments of the students of industrial engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering in particular stand out above the national average.

In addition, RWTH has been praised in most of the subjects surveyed for its good support at the beginning of studies. The services offered here range from self-assessments for study orientation to tutorials and counseling sessions to courses on building and aligning skills.
