RWTH’s Business Administration and Engineering Master’s Programs Earn High Ratings in CHE Ranking

RWTH students in the five master’s degree programs: business administration or business administration and engineering with the specializations of civil engineering, electrical power engineering, mechanical engineering, and materials and process engineering are very satisfied with their university studies. The Center for Higher Education Development (CHE) surveyed students at many different German universities and has now published its findings. Students were able to rate their instructors and the University in numerous categories, such as the range of courses, research, and industrial orientation, or the transition from bachelor’s to master’s degree programs. The over 350 students surveyed at RWTH gave the University at least four out of five possible stars in all categories.

They rated the organization of their studies particularly highly across all subjects, for example, the number of course participants, the lack of overlaps among compulsory courses, and general accessibility to courses.

In addition to the students’ assessments, three indicators of research performance for business administration were published in the CHE University Ranking. The results were impressive: RWTH is in the top group for all indicators in terms of doctoral candidates and publications per professor as well as research funding per academic staff member and is therefore among the top 25 percent of all the universities surveyed.
