Saanjh Kendras coming forward to support Mission Fateh

Chandigarh: Providing a huge boost to Mission Fateh, the police personnel working at the Saanjh Kendras in the district, have also volunteered to support the cause.

From being the frontline warriors in the war against corona virus during the lockdown period, the police personnel have turned a new leaf now. They have assumed the role of Mission Fateh Warriors in an emphatic manner apart from discharging their normal duties.

All the 67 police personnel deployed at the 22 Saanjh Kendras in the district have come forward to discharge the duties of Mission Warriors by turning the Saanjh Kendras into the awareness hubs with regard to disseminating info on corona virus. In this noble mission, they are being assisted by the 80 volunteers from the community.

They have been very active in sensitizing the common people, coming to these Kendras for availing various police related services, about adhering to the health procedures laid down by the health department such as wearing of masks when going out, washing of hands with soap and hand sanitizers, Maintaining of social distance, Desisting from hugging and shaking hands.

They are also urging the people to download COVA app and post their selfies while undertaking activities aimed at spreading awareness about following safety precautions to stay safe from corona virus.
