SaffronStays appoints Manvi Sharma as its Chief Marketing Officer
Manvi will lead SaffronStays’ digital-first approach while aligning and establishing the company’s Marcomm efforts
Mumbai : India’s foremost and exclusive collection of fully staffed and serviced private vacation homes, SaffronStays named Manvi Sharma as its Chief Marketing Officer earlier this week. As the hospitality collective expands its business across the country by on-boarding stunning private villas and estates, its aim is to be a digital-first industry leader while leveraging its partnerships and playing a key role in changing the way people holiday.
Prior to joining SaffronStays, Manvi was leading the Content & Strategy team at BookMyShow for close to six years where she built the ticketing service into a discovery destination for movie fans and led its foray into content creation. She comes with 14+ years of experience in Marketing, Advertising and Brand Management, and has worked for various sectors including entertainment, hospitality, banking and finance, F&B, and gaming among others.
Speaking about her new stint, Manvi shares, “In light of the pandemic, the SaffronStays community has become more relevant than ever, and it is a privilege to be working with a company currently at the forefront of tourism. Marketing communication combined with innovative storytelling will be central to expanding SaffronStays’ reach and driving growth in a constantly changing forum. My goal is to take the company’s branding to newer heights, providing an all-inclusive experience for our patrons and partners.”
Devendra Parulekar, Founder, SaffronStays, speaks about this new development. “We are heading towards a digital-first approach across the organisation – be it lead generation, customer retention, marketing efforts and so on. We want to move towards a data-driven ecosystem. Manvi’s prior expertise with BookMyShow, which was a digital-first company, comes in handy even as the fundamental marketing principles remain the same. We will also be relooking at our loyalty and referral programs and align it with our current strategy,” he says.
“The future of most industries, including hospitality, is digital,” says Tejas Parulekar, Founder, SaffronStays. “And we have taken this aim head on in order to create a smooth, seamless end-to-end experience for all our stakeholders. Manvi’s proficiency in B2B and B2C communications will help further this dream by building on the company’s brand experience, expand its reach and work towards an overall growth for all sectors,” she adds.
SaffronStays has been recognised as one of India Top 100 Luxury Brands in Luxebook’s Most Powerful 2020 list.
