New Delhi  – Anticipation is building for the forthcoming sixth edition of Sahitya Aaj Tak, the largest Hindi literary festival, scheduled to be held at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi from November 24 to 26, 2023. Conceived by the India Today Group, Sahitya Aaj Tak has experienced remarkable growth over the past years, leaving an indelible mark on countless listeners and audiences. The 2022 edition set a record with an astounding two lakh online registrations, underscoring its increasing popularity and influence.

 

The literary extravaganza boasts a stellar lineup, featuring luminaries from diverse fields, including literary icons, Bollywood actors, and renowned authors. Among the star attractions are father-daughter duo Javed Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar, and filmmakers Meghna Gulzar, actors Vicky Kaushal, Manoj Bajpayee, Rajpal Yadav, and actor & comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi, singer and lyricist Piyush Mishra, singer Jubin Nautiyal, singer Kavita Seth, the eminent singer-composer Adnan Sami, poet Kumar Vishwas, Shailesh Lodha, famous lyrists Manoj Muntashir Shukla, and writers Amish Tripathy, and Anuja Chauhan. Starting this year, the group announces Aaj Tak Sahitya Jagriti Samman – a lifetime achievement award, carrying a cash prize of ₹11 lakh. In addition, the Aaj Tak Sahitya Jagriti Sarvashreshtha Rachna Samman will also be given in 4 categories, each carrying a cash prize of ₹1 lakh. Three awards have also been announced under the Aaj Tak Sahitya Jagriti Samman to promote young talent aiming to elevate Indian literature. Chaired by Aaj Tak’s News Director Supriya Prasad, a 6-member jury will select winners.
