Saplings planted under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign

ALIGARH : The Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University organized a plantation drive under the national plantation campaign, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, initiated by the Government of India.

On this occasion, the officiating Chairman of the department, Dr Sabahuddin Ahmad, along with Dr Abdul Aziz Khan and Dr Pallav Vishnu planted saplings in the premises of the Translation Cell of the department at Irvin Circle, Anoopshahr Road, Aligarh.

Dr Sabahuddin Ahmad spoke about the importance of trees in our lives and urged all to plant trees in their localities and make efforts to transform their areas into a greener part of the earth.
