Saree Sanskriti exhibition was inaugurated by the chief guest, Ms Rupal Dalal
New Delhi: Saree Sanskriti, an exhibition of designer sarees curated by noted television anchor Salma Sultan, was recently held at India Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi. Ms. Rupal Dalal, Executive Director, JD Institute of Fashion Technology was the chief guest.
Saree Sanskriti is the brainchild of renowned television anchor, Salma Sultan, who is known for her elegant style. The exhibition’s aim is to showcase the unusual and exotic weaves and threads of wonderfully skilled artisans in the backdrop of unique art furniture and premium costume jewelry. It is an annual event that has received tremendous appreciation because of its aesthetic and unique approach.
Ms Rupal Dalal, Executive Director – JD Institute of Fashion Technology, said, “I am delighted to be the part of this exhibition, supporting the artisans and providing them with a platform resonates with my vision of building a livelihood for these artisans with ethical marketplaces.
