Satya Bharti School students celebrate World Environment Day online

New Delhi: Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, upheld the motto of Environment in their Satya Bharti Schools. Nearly 40,000 student in 183 Satya Bharti schools in rural India celebrated World Environment Day 2021 by participating in activities like: painting, essay writing and speech competitions through online medium while being safe within their home.

Multiple themes were given to children to inspire their imagination, such as Water Conservation, Tree Plantation, Say No to Plastic, Save the Planet Earth, Environmental Pollution, and many more. The students made beautiful paintings, wrote essays and also shared audio recording of speeches with their teachers through WhatsApp groups created by their parents and teachers.

During the nationwide restrictions and with the on-going pandemic, Satya Bharti Schools are ensuring that students are engaged through various activities, teachers are going an extra mile to keep the education going through e-learning. Almost 1000 class-wise WhatsApp groups are functional which were created last year. Class specific reading material, video links, assignments and competitions are keeping our students engaged.
