Mumbai : In line with its efforts to bring experiences, exposure and learning that would otherwise be unavailable to students in India’s small towns, LEAD, India’s largest School Edtech company, conducted an exclusive Masterclass on Communication skills with popular author and speaker Chetan Bhagat.  Chetan turned tutor and guide for students of LEAD-powered schools across 400+ towns and cities in India, as he shared learnings from his own life and delved into the secrets of successful Communication, one of the most important skills in the 21st century.

LEAD’s Communication Masterclass covered Storytelling, Verbal Communication and Written Communication.  In his exclusive session with LEAD students, Chetan emphasized how Communication impacts all aspects of our lives including academics, work and relationships.    Sharing his thoughts, Chetan Bhagat said, “Communication is the biggest strength of some of the world’s greatest leaders.  It is not only about what or how much you say, but also about how you say it.  While communicating well might come naturally to a few, every child must be taught this important skill at school.”

Sumeet Mehta, LEAD Co-founder and CEO, said, “Communicating your thoughts in a clear and confident manner has to be the single biggest skill that an individual needs to succeed in today’s world. But our schools don’t teach communication; they focus on passing exams. Students in small towns are especially deprived of this skill since they have lesser exposure and fewer occasions to build this important skill. LEAD Masterclass aims to fill this gap, and who better than Chetan Bhagat to interact with our students and teach them the skill of communication!”

LEAD’s Masterclass is India’s first initiative to provide a holistic learning experience to school students in small towns, by giving them an opportunity to learn directly from experts and celebrities.  LEAD’s Masterclass series ensures that students learn critical life skills from this exposure. Previous Masterclass sessions have been led by celebrities such as badminton ace Saina Nehwal, tennis champion Sania Mirza, legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar and actor-director R Madhavan.  LEAD’s latest Masterclass follows the previous edition led by Tennis legend Leander Paes, which delved into the secrets of successful Leadership and Collaboration.
