School Van dedicated

ALIGARH : Prof Asfar Ali Khan, Director, Directorate of School Education, Aligarh Muslim University, dedicated a school van to the Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged, AMU at a function here. It has been sanctioned by the university for the easy and safe commuting of the students of the special school.

After taking an inaugural ride of the 7-seater Maruti EECO vehicle, along with the Assistant Director of schools, Prof Shadab Ahmad Khan, Prof Khan said that the vehicle will help our visually challenged students in commuting to different destinations easily and now they will not have to depend on rented vehicles while attending university functions or visiting other schools for literary and cultural events.

Dr Naila Rashid, Principal of the school, expressed gratitude to the university administration for the first vehicle that the school has received.

The students presented a group song on this occasion and cheered the event with welcome gestures and distribution of sweets.
