Schools and EdTech’s join forces at ASEP’s Edvention to build a blueprint for the future of education

Coimbatore  – Committed to empowering educators and school leaders to transform K-12 learning, the Association of Ed-tech Providers (ASEP) unveiled the Coimbatore chapter of Edvention: The Reinvention of Schooling. Through Edvention, ASEP aims to partner and proactively engage with policy makers and education leaders and dive into on-ground issues to better understand the needs of the K-12 ecosystem and transform teaching learning experiences with ed-tech solutions.

The event highlighted the innovative strides education is making with a focus on transforming learning experiences with AI, gamification, personalization, and simplification of STEM learning to optimize student engagement, facilitate personalized learning, and improve academic achievement. A first-of-its-kind platform, Edvention brings K-12 educators and ed-infra makers to deliberate and understand the on-ground challenges and needs of our education ecosystem.

The event had over 100 stakeholders in attendance from the education sector, including educators, school leaders and policy makers, converging to delve into the role of technology in reshaping modern classrooms. They exchanged insights and experiences from the ongoing digital shift in education, emphasizing the importance of integrating tools like generative AI and ChatGPT into the learning environment. The event showcased in-depth sessions led by luminaries such as the keynote speaker Dr. Sreerama Murthy – Co-founder & CEO, Quadratic Insights, Malati Kalmadi – Managing Trustee, Kaveri Group of Institutes, Fr. Sebastian James SJ – Vice Principal, St Xavier’s Collegiate School, Dr. Bhavanishankar – Director, Omega Group, Neil Tushar Kikani – Executive Partner, Kikani Group, Srinivasa Raghavan – COO, TVS Education Society and Dr. Madhavan Mukund – Director, Chennai Mathematical Institute, among others. The discussions culminated in the book launch of Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff’s ‘Baby Steps to Big Dreams’, a comprehensive guide for modern educators and parents.
