Scientific journals of Petrozavodsk State University

Today, 8 out of 12 scientific electronic journals published at Petrozavodsk State University are included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications, which publish the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of candidate of science, for the degree of doctor of science (List of VAK). All scientific journals are included in the RSCI.
Three journals are included in the prestigious scientometric databases Web of Science and Scopus.

This year the scientific journal “Unknown Dostoevsky” entered the WoS. The RSCI includes the journal “Problems of Historical Poetics”. The chief editor of the journals is Professor V.N. Zakharov.

The scientific electronic journal “Principles of Ecology” (chief editor – Prof. AV Korosov) has confirmed its status as a VAK journal. The journal is included in the ZOOLOGICAL RECORD Web of Science.

Another 5 scientific journals have submitted applications to international rating bases.

Since 2020, the electronic journal CARELiCA has become the publication of the Humanitarian Innovation Park of PetrSU, which included the Research Laboratory of Local and Microhistory of Karelia (ILLMIK), due to the change in the scientific focus of the Institute of Northern European Studies and the termination of the activities of the Interdisciplinary Scientific and Educational Center CARELICA.

All magazines published all planned issues in compliance with the release schedule.

In total, the journals have published 479 articles and reviews, including 121 publications from PetrSU.
