Scientists of the Medical Institute at the conference of cardiologists

Scientific researches of scientists of the Department of Hospital Therapy of the Medical Institute in the field of cardiology are presented at an international conference.
On October 7-9, 2021, Dubai (UAE) hosted the 12th Annual Conference of the Emirates Cardiological Society in collaboration with the American Heart Association.

The conference was held in a hybrid format, which allowed a wide range of cardiologists, endovascular surgeons, and cardiac surgeons to take part in it.

The event was attended by over 1200 delegates from different parts of the Middle East, Gulf countries, America, Asia and Europe.

The conference program covered a wide range of modern topics in cardiology and included reports from leading regional and international experts in this field, which determined the high level of the conference.

Within the framework of the poster session, great interest was aroused by the report of scientists from the Department of Hospital Therapy of the Medical Institute of PetrSU – I.S.Skopets, N.N. Vezikova, O. Yu. Barysheva, together with cardiologists of the Republican Hospital named after I. V.A. Baranova A.N. Malygin and V.A. Litvinova on the topic “Management of patients with acute coronary syndrome in real clinical practice in the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The report presents data on the provision of medical care to patients with acute coronary syndrome during 2019-2020. and 2020−2021, the features of the course, complications, and therapy were analyzed.
