Scriptwriting and Movie Shoot Workshop

Aligarh : The Aligarh Muslim University Film Club members witnessed a professional movie shoot happening at the Kennedy Auditorium, AMU.

The students learnt the format of scriptwriting in filmmaking.

The club members, along with members of the University Drama Club met the director Javed Danish, who conversed with the students about his own time in AMU in the early 90s. He shared many anecdotes and encouraged all students to find their passion and work hard to achieve great things in life.

According to Sheeza Shoeb, the members watched first-hand as the production staff cruised through the set. They learnt how a director guides the actors through each line and action, how actors work through a single scene in several takes, how cameras are handled in each scene, and how everyone in the team plays a crucial role in producing an excellent cinematic performance.
