SEHAT registration: CSC e-Governance hosts training for VLEs at Ramban

Ramban: The Common Service Centre e-Governance Services organized a Workshop cum Refresher Training Course for all Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) of District here today to scale up registration under PMJAY- SEHAT scheme.

The Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Isalm inaugurated the workshop.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC asked the VLEs to put in extra efforts to achieve the targets of registration of beneficiaries under the health insurance scheme under which the Government will bear expenses of treatment of the citizens up to Rs. 5.00 lakh.

In order to increase registrations under SEHAT, the District Administration has also set up a VLE kiosk within the complex to facilitate prospective beneficiaries willing to register under the flagship insurance scheme, he added.

The DC asked the participants to play their role in implementing government schemes by facilitating the general public through their facility centres.

During the workshop, General Manager CSC, J&K, Shahnawaz Rasheed; CSC operations head, Ashwani Kumar, Banking head, Irfan Hashmi and several other functionaries of the organisation imparted know-how to participants regarding operation of various online portals and applications pertaining to different Government online services.

The Resource Persons also provided detailed knowledge of services available through CSC to VLEs. The workshop enabled VLEs to explore their potential and opportunities in CSC.
