Select CITYWALK celebrates a Child’s Greatest Love. Launches Toy Donation Drive

New Delhi: Select CITYWALK enters the new year with a conscious purpose of bringing families and communities together in unique ways with the aim of putting the smiles back on the faces of the less privileged. After a bleak 2020, the brand is all set to take lead this year in urging communities to drive change and give back to the society by providing them a platform to do so through well-planned donation drives that will help struggling families and children bring hope in their lives. This is in continuation to the earlier two successful donation drives done at the shopping centre for shoe & book donation with a very encouraging response from the visitors, giving a new dimension to Select CITYWALK’s vision of adding value back to the society.

In its humble effort to start a new tradition of delivering love to the children, Select CITYWALK and CanKids – The National Society For Change For Childhood Cancer, come together to put a smile on the faces of children battling cancer through the launch of a Toy Donation Drive. There is no greater feeling in the world than bringing joy into a child’s life, and seeing him or her smile with genuine love and appreciation in their heart. And there is no better way to do that, than by showering them with their favourite toys.

Select CITYWALK kick-starts the Toy Donation Drive (10th – 28th February) during the Valentine’s month, when hearts are filled with the warm fuzzy feeling of love, a perfect time to give back with an open heart and in sync with the brand’s #LoveUnlocked campaign which celebrates love throughout the month. The drive urges the patrons to create goodwill by honouring our gentle courageous souls by donating new toys, or toys that are in good condition to the children fighting cancer through CANKIDS and celebrate the true love of a child: TOYS. With this initiative, the brand aims at reconnecting the children with their childhood, making up for the loss of childhood in the year 2020 and helping them make some beautiful memories this year.

Commenting on the Toy Donation Drive, Mr Yogeshwar Sharma, Executive Director & CEO, Select CITYWALK said, “We are proud to be a part of a community that is always ready to help those in need, and we intend to use our brand as a platform to give back to the society in whatever humble way we can. With our Toy Donation Drive, we aim to bring communities together to bring smiles on the faces of the gentle souls who are courageously battling cancer, and just a simple act of giving them toys, will light up their world. This year is the year of hope, compassion and joy, and we will steadily drive the change that brings back joy in the lives of people.”
