Seminar on Israel-Palestine Conflict on May 4-5

ALIGARH  : The Department of Islamic Studies, Aligarh Muslim University is organizing a two-day international seminar in hybrid mode on May 4-5, 2024 on “Israel-Palestine Conflict: Current Situation and Future Possibilities”.

The Chairman of the department and Director of the seminar, Prof. Abdul Hamid Fazili said that several scholars and intellectuals have been invited to attend the seminar and discuss a wide range of concerning issues that feature the key points of the seminar, including the historical narratives and identity, humanitarian impacts and human rights, diplomacy and peace processes, impact on geopolitics, the role of Organization of Islamic Co-operation (OIC) and Arab league, regional dynamics and prospects and pathways to peace.

Dr. Bilal Ahmed Kutty is the Convener of the seminar, the Co-convener is Dr Aijaz Ahmed and the Organizing Secretary is Dr. Muhammad Muslim.

Prof Fazli said that the faculty members and students of various universities, who wish to participate in the seminar, can submit the abstract of their papers in 250-300 words by April 18, and the complete paper in 3000-5000 words by April 29, 2024.
