Senior Advocate Ejaz Maqbool delivers   lecture on ‘Law, Humour and Urdu Poetry’

Aligarh : The Faculty of Law at Aligarh Muslim university hosted an enlightening lecture titled ‘Law, Humour and Urdu Poetry’ by Senior Advocate Mr. Ejaz Maqbool from the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi. Delving into the intriguing fusion of Urdu poetry within legal discourse, Mr. Maqbool showcased its metaphorical, satirical, and humorous dimensions.

Welcoming him, Dean Prof MZM Nomani lauded Maqbool’s contributions to advocacy, particularly in shaping disability law and policy.

Engaged students relished insights into legal practice gleaned from Maqbool’s experiences at the bar.

Prof Hashmat Ali Khan expressed optimism that Maqbool’s bar experiences would enrich the institution’s clinical legal education programme while Prof. Mohd Asharaf extended his vote of thanks.
