Serendipity Arts Festival is back in Goa for its 5th Edition ~15th – 23rd of December, Save the date for India’s biggest multi-disciplinary arts festival

Goa: Celebrating the undying spirit of the arts, and hot on the heels of being awarded the Best Cultural Festival title at the LCD Berlin Awards in April 2022, Serendipity Arts Festival is back with its 5th Edition, scheduled between the 15th – 23rd of December in Panjim, Goa. The much-anticipated 5th edition of the festival is coming back to Goa with a new perspective, and with high hopes of making Goa a leading cultural destination of the region. While the idea of the festival remains the same, the outlook and approach to it has changed, making the offerings much more multi- and transdisciplinary, free flowing and collaborative.

The festival will expand the concept of community and look to create a series of engaging programmes for the festival visitors. Serendipity Arts Festival will be bringing together artists, curators, conversations, and creative collaborations from across South Asia and the globe to celebrate life.

With two virtual festivals under its belt during the pandemic years, Serendipity Arts not only brought hope to those isolated due to COVID-19, but also introduced artists and artforms to new audiences, opening avenues to a whole range of programming ideas and possibilities, some of which will continue in December 2022.

Speaking of the upcoming edition, Smriti Rajgarhia, Director, Serendipity Arts Foundation & Festival said, “We are delighted to let everyone know that we will be back in Goa to celebrate and host the much overdue 5th edition of the festival in Panjim with our growing universe of artists, collaborators and friends.”

Adding to this she also mentioned, “The projects this year are going to have greater degree of multi-media adaptability. Alongside, our public engagement systems and safety standards are going to set new benchmarks for events and festivals, such as ours, in a post-pandemic world.”

Anticipated to run longer than its previous editions, the festival is hoping that after a wait of two long years, people will #findserendipity, which is also the official hashtag for this edition. Save the date, 15th – 23rd of December 2022, and make your plans to be in Goa in December at the earliest.
