Seventeen academics from HKUMed top the list of Highly Cited Researchers of 2021

Seventeen academics from the LKS Faculty of Medicine of The University of Hong Kong (HKUMed)

have been named by the Clarivate Analytics in as ‘2021 Highly Cited Researchers’ (HCR), attaining the largest number of HKUMed scholars ever listed in HCR. These scientists have put HKUMed firmly on the global map of medical advances across various disciplines.

Highly Cited Researchers are selected for their exceptional research performance, determined by production of multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in Web of Science. Some 6,600 researchers from over 70 countries and regions were named Highly Cited Researchers in 2021.
