Several MCs of Jammu Division meet conditions for ODF+ certification; Seek objection, feedback within 15 days

JAMMU : Several Municipal Councils and Municipal Committees of Jammu Division have met conditions for ODF+ certification.

As per the concerned authorities, Municipal Council Reasi, Municipal Committee Batote, MC Arnia; MC Khour;MC Bishnah, MC Sunderbani, MC Jorian, MC Vijaypur; MC Akhnoor and MC Bari Brahmana have met all the necessary conditions for ODF+ certification. The MCs have completed the construction of all Community Toilets and Public Toilets.

The Toilets available are also on Google Toilet Locator app for the convenience of the public.

The MCs have been working towards the up gradation of toilets so as to achieve the certification of ODF+ for the respective towns. Accordingly, these Civic Bodies have developed Service Level Benchmarks for toilets which are available in Municipal Council offices and on the official website of DULJ (www. http://www.ulbjammu.org).

The Concerned authorities have asked for objection and feedback which can be submitted within 15 days from the release of the notification either in the office of MCs or in the Grievance Section of the official website of DULBJ. The MCs would declare the towns ODF+ post completion of this period.
