SGT University is back with its 6th Edition of The SYNERGY Tech Fest
Gurugram– SGT University kicked off the first day of its much-awaited SYNERGY Techno-Fest on October 11 with a lot of excitement and gusto. This is the sixth edition of the university techno-fest, which has become an ideal space for the tech-savvy to witness, learn, and experience the wonders of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. In addition, thousands of students from a large number of schools, colleges, and other universities also participated in various scientific and cultural events of the Techno-Fest.
After the inaugural ceremony, the first day of the event witnessed a spectacular drone competition, a battle of the bots in the robot competition, and a spirited nukkad natak competition featuring 50 talented teams.
Speaking about the event, Prof. (Dr.) O. P. Kalra, Vice Chancellor, SGT University, said, “This is one of the best events for students to learn and showcase their technical prowess and inspire love for science, among others. It’s great to see everyone participating with such enthusiasm. The energy on day one was so electric, you can only imagine what the other two days will have in store.”
The main aim is to promote research for students at a young age, provide students with experiential learning opportunities, and develop their entrepreneurial skills. Another standout feature at the fest is the preparation of delicious millet-based traditional thalis by village women on site. This gives attendees an opportunity to experience the culinary prowess of rural India.
With an expected attendance of over 22,000 school children over the course of three days, the fest promises to be a vibrant hub of youthful energy and enthusiasm. It’s a unique opportunity for young minds to explore their interests, engage with different cultures, and broaden their perspectives. The festivities commence at 9 a.m. each day and continue throughout, offering attendees the chance to fully immerse themselves in this cultural extravaganza.
