Sharda University Bags IP Excellence Award 2022

Sharda University, Greater Noida was conferred the IP Excellence Award,2022 by Global IP Service Provider Questel. The award was given based on the number of Patent, Design and Trademark applications filed by Sharda University. During this assessment period from January 2021 to October 2022, the University has filed about 500 Patent, Design and Trademark applications. The award was received by Prof Avinash Kumar, Head IPR Cell on behalf of Sharda University.

Sharing his views, PK Gupta, Chancellor, Sharda University said “Sharda University has always recognized the importance of a strong and vibrant IPR culture, permeating the entire research and academic community and has created an ecosystem of protecting the intellectual property rights of its academic community, incentivizing the researchers and academic community to come up with quality publications as well as innovative solutions. It has established IPR Cell as a nodal agency for handling the entire range of issues pertaining to intellectual property rights and technology transfer.
