Sharda University Celebrated its 27th Foundation Day

Sharda University celebrated its 27th Foundation Day with a grand ceremony at the campus. During the celebration, the information about the journey of the Sharda group for the last 26 years was highlighted. Making the occasion special, renowned singer Benny Dayal gave a live performance in the campus, which was enjoyed a lot by students. Benny Dayal sang some of his famous songs like Locha e Ulfat, Badtameez Dil, Besharmi Ki Height, Aadat Se Majboor, etc.

Mr.PK Gupta, Chancellor, Sharda University, said ” today is a special day for the entire Sharda Group and we are proud that we all are growing fast together”. He also mentioned that he entered in the field of education 27 years ago and the aim was that students should not have to go to other countries for higher, technical, and medical studies. He also stated that in the upcoming year of 2023 we will achieve one more milestone by inaugurating our new campus in Agra. As Sharda’s flag is flying globally, this has been possible only when the large group of students, faculty, and teachers are associated with us.

Addressing the gathering Rishabh Gupta, Vice President, Sharda Hospital, said “Sharda has set a benchmark in the field of higher education. The university has reached inclusive development and has accomplished several milestones, now it becomes the responsibility of all of us to continue our growth further and contribute to the development of the country through education”.

On this occasion, the employees, officers, and teachers of the group associated from the last 15 and 20 years were honored, in which Dr. Ajit Kumar, associated for 20 years, said “Sharda is not just a workplace, but for me, it’s like a family for me. I feel very proud to be associated with this institution.”

In addition, the School of Dental Sciences has organized a winter carnival with food stalls, game stalls, along with the lucky draw. During this carnival, several cultural programs were also organized.
