Sharda University celebrated its 28th Foundation Day

Bollywood singer Dev Negi gave an electrifying performance.

 

The 28th Foundation Day of Sharda University was marked on campus with a lavish celebration. The celebration started with an interesting cricket match. Staff, officers, and teachers were also honoured during the celebration as a token of appreciation for their devotion to the group and for working at the institute for more than 15 years. As a part of Celebrity Night, renowned Bollywood singer Dev Negi gave a live performance on campus, which was enjoyed a lot by students. Dev Negi sang some of his famous songs like “Badri Ki Dulhania,” “Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12,” “Mere Rashke Qamar,” and many more.

Sharing his view, PK Gupta, Chancellor, Sharda University, said, “Students of Sharda University are doing excellent work and also contributing towards the development of the nation. Sharing the example, he said Sharda Group student Saurabh Gupta was a part of the ISRO team, which contributed significantly to making Chandrayaan a success. The group has also established a world-class medical college in Noida, where free treatment facilities were provided to the people during the time of COVID.

Addressing the gathering, YK Gupta, Pro Chancellor, Sharda University, said, “Foundation Day gives us a collective responsibility to advance the objectives of the institution, protect its values and shared purpose, and create opportunities for others. We have created a unique learning environment to focus our entire attention on building the citizens of tomorrow through new ways of thinking, doing, connecting, and being.

Sharing details for the programme, Dr. Ajit Kumar said an interesting match was held between the Sharda Alumni Association and Sharda employees. Sharda Alumni Association won the match by 7 wickets.
