Shemaroo Entertainment to live stream celebrations forDurga Puja in association with 21 PALLY, Ballygunge, Kolkata

New Delhi: Every year, millions of people across the country come together to celebrate Goddess Durga during Durga Puja. Observed between 6 to 10 days, Durga Puja consists of significant ceremonies such as Shashti Puja, which marks the beginning of Durga Puja, Sandhi Puja held at the juncture between Ashtami and Navami Tithi as well as Sindur Khela where women smear each other with sindur on Vijayadashami. However, Durga Puja will be celebrated in a very different manner this year. With social distancing restrictions and concerns around safety and hygiene, the traditionally communal ceremonies will be virtual in 2020.
