“Shodh Shikhar 2022”, the one-of-its-kind Innovation Festival concludes at Rabindranath Tagore University
Bhopal: The two-day ‘First All India Inter-University Research and Innovation Festival Shodh Shikhar-2022’ was concluded at Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal on March 25th 2022. Mr. Ashok Varshney, All India Organization Minister, Arogya Bharti was the chief guest for this occasion accompanied by Mr. Amog Gupta, President, Vigyan Bharati, Dr. Akhilesh Pandey, Vice Chancellor, Vikram University, Ujjain, Mr. Santosh Choubey, Chancellor, Rabindranath Tagore University, Dr. Brahm Prakash Pethia, Vice Chancellor, RNTU, Dr. Vijay Singh, Registrar, RNTU, Prof. V.K. Verma, Convener Research Shikhar, Mr. Amitabh Saxena, Academician.
Mr. Ashok Varshney addressed the audience stating the importance of research. Speaking on the traits of a researcher, he mentioned that one should think about the larger picture and end goal, while practicing teamwork. Giving inspiring examples, he said that the contribution of our research should be in nation building. The program of Shodh Shikhar based on the vision of self-reliant India is a step in this direction.
Mr. Santosh Choubey, Chancellor, Rabindranath Tagore University, in his address said that there is immense potential for creation of knowledge in Indian languages. “It is our endeavor to ensure the direction of the research should be such that it becomes useful for society and it should be based on the needs of the local environment”. The main objective of Shodh Shikhar is to contribute to a self-reliant India.

*Platinum Winner-* Pooja Kumari, Dr. Abhishek Gupta, Prabhat Jatav Vinoba Bhave University Jharkhand was given fifty thousand rupees and a trophy with the theme ‘Processing of Decaffeinated Tea and its Therapeutic Value in Our Daily Life in Different Context’.
*Gold Winner-* Keshav Dutt Sharma, Dr. CV Raman University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh was given ‘Herbal Soap’ and Rakia Naaz Khan, Dr. CV Raman University Vaishali, Bihar was given twenty five thousand rupees and trophy for ‘Ornamental Fish Farming’.
In addition to this, three silver awards and five consolation prizes were also presented to the students.

*Platinum Winner-* Reena Verma, Gargi Saxena, IIS University, Jaipur was presented with the subject ‘Formulation of Non Dairy Symbiotic Drink from Chickpea Supplemented with Chicory Root Powder and Assessment of its Market Potential’ with Rs. Twenty-five thousand rupees and a trophy.
*Gold Winner-* Sakshi Dwivedi, Shekhar, KIOT Kanpur and Viresh Rushikumar, Ganpat University, Gujarat were given fifteen thousand rupees and a trophy.
Apart from this, three silver awards along with five consolation prizes were also given to the students. Dr. Pawan Kushwaha, RNTU received the award for Best Research Paper in Regional Language.
